The Anatomy:

• Technique:
  • The body: Hand-rendered using the Waistcoat Stitch. This Highly technical method mimics the tight, uniform density of knitwork, providing an unyielding, archival structure that ensures the specimen preserves its structural anatomy over a lifetime of exposure.
  • The Anchors: The Dual handles are engineered in a dense seamless Slip Stitch Spiral to provide maximum tensile strength under load.
  • The Pathways: The striking cyanotic vascular structures are intricately hand-embroidered directly onto the surface canvas, mapping the vital flows of the vessel.
• Colorway & Alchemy:
  •  Obsidian & Cyanotic Blue: The solid base is alchemically dyed in-house utilizing a traditional Majuphal (Oak Gall) and Ferrous Sulfate (Iron) bath to achieve an absolute, light-absorbing matte obsidian. The contrasting veins are rendered in a chilling, oxygen-deprived cyanotic teal.
• Composition & Architecture:
  • Exterior Shell: 100% Mercerized Cotton (Base)—Selected for its smooth, surgical finish, lack of stretch, and total resistance to pilling.
  • Vascular Embroidery: 100% Rayon from Bamboo—chosen for its high-gloss, liquid-slick sheen that mimics the wet vitality of living tissue against the matte shell. 
  • Internal Core: Heavyweight canvas fabric reinforcement to ensure permanent structure rigidity, lined with an ultra-premium black velvet abyss that cushions your contents in complete darkness.
• Hardware & Finishes
  
  • Fixation: Bound securely with solid antique bronze screw rivets for an industrial, clinical execution.
  • The Sigil: Adorned with the signature Midnight Owl bronze charm, cementing its provenance within the Vault

Provenance:

Design and hand-resurrected by The Surgeon. Each specimen is unique; slight variations in the organic dye-bath are a testament to the handmade nature of the Vault's work.
